Homo erectus

Homo Erectus have been dated all the way back to at least 1.8 million years ago, and scientist are pritty sure the were around to 1.9 million years ago At the begining of the paleoanthropology studies or the study of man, scientist believed that there were two groups of Homos that contributed genis that effected human kind, the Homo Erectus and the Neanderthals. However in the 16th century some scientist started to question if Homo Erectus was ever part of the evolution of man. Some believed that erectus was an invaild toxin, other believed that it was really many different toxics mixed into one, and in Asia and Africa it was stilled called erectus however they believed that it had no impact on the modern day human. A scientist by the name of Eugène Dubois thought that Homo Erectus was important and went to Southeast Asia to find out the truth behind the Homo Erectus stage in the evolutionary chain. What he descovered was that the Homo Erectus did exist and that exept for the modern man the Homo Erectus was the most wide spread hominid to live.
The traits among the Homo Erectus were very similar. It is said that their brain increased in size compared to the sapiens. The apperance of the Homo Erectus changed a lot from what the sapiens might have looked like. The Homo Erectus would have been more developed as well as taller. Scientist know this because they have found examples of what they believe is Homo Erectus skelotons. An example of one of the prehistoric man they found was a boy found in Kenya. It is said to be the earliest known human body ever found.Another early human body found was in Peking and is commonly refered to as the "Peking Man".

Those known as the 'Homo erectus' are considered to be extremely important when studying modern human origins. Where the modern human postcrania develops is known as `the Middle Pleistocene,` this is where modernly recognizable cranial features begin to form into place there is as well a significant increase in brain size. It is viewed as so importaint only because a lot of behavioural changes occur around this time period. For example more developed lithic industries, the ability to control fire, the regular consumption of meat, hunting, and more.
This is the point where most people woul;d classify as "human" begin developing to able people to recognize the specific pattern of behaviour and anatomy as human.
